Grooming & Bathing
We offer convenient grooming options for boarding dogs
Grooming can be arranged at a trusted local grooming parlor in Monument Park before your pet returns home (client covers cost directly)
We also offer home bathing for small breed dogs or easy-to-bathe dogs at R200 per bath.
Pet Boarding (Dogs and Birds)
A home-stay boarding experience where pets sleep indoors and live as apart of the family.
Boarding Includes
For Dogs:
Two meals and snacks daily (premium kibble, mince, and treats)
Fresh water available at all times
Indoor sleeping arrangements (beds, couches, or crates if provided by client)
Supervised free-roam garden access
Daily updates and photos
Walks or outings (weather permitting)
Constant care, attention, and companionship
For Birds:
Daily meals including seeds and fresh fruit
Fresh water available at all times
Gentle, calm care in a safe environment
Comfortable cage-based accommodation
Regular attention and monitoring
Important Feeding Note
Clients are welcome to send their pet’s own food with them. However, this will unfortunately not affect the daily rate, as care, time, and space remain the same regardless of food provide
Drop off & Collection
Boarding drop-off and collection times are strictly between: 7:00 AM – 6:30 PM
After hours can be arranged in advance for an additional fee of R100.
To maintain a calm and structured environment for all pets, clients must WhatsApp before arriving for drop-off or collection.

Shaso Pets is a home-style pet boarding & doggy daycare in Monument Park, Pretoria where pets are not placed in a facility, but welcomed into a family.
We’re a playful, animal-loving home built around wagging tails, happy chirps, muddy paws and lots of love. What started as a deep passion for animals quickly turned into a safe, joyful space where dogs and birds can feel comfortable, cared for, and completely at home.
Our days are filled with zoomies in the garden, sunny naps, snack negotiations, adventures, feather fluffing and the kind of genuine attention every pet deserves. We believe every animal has their own little personality, and we love getting to know each one individually from energetic ball-obsessed pups to gentle birds with big attitudes.
At the heart of it all is our own crazy toddler, growing up side-by-side with the pack he proudly calls his best friends. Between the laughter, chaos, cuddles, and endless adventures, our home is built on kindness, patience, and a whole lot of animal love.
Whether your pets stay with us for a day or a little longer, our goal is simple: to make sure they feel safe, loved, happy, and part of the family.
Since 2022, we’ve had the privilege of caring for pets while their families are away and we never take that trust lightly.
